Perry and I attended a funeral for his mission president on Saturday in American Fork. President Royle was 97 years old. Quite an amazing man. He was always conscientious on improving in all areas of his life. He was a wonderful husband and father. He served in the US Army. His profession was dentistry. He was a Bishop and Stake President for the LDS Church as well as a Mission President and Temple sealer. He accomplished much in his life and was well respected by everyone who knew him. He was a wonderful example of a Christlike life. He touched many lives. He was an amazing gardener. We have been attending West Spanish American Mission reunions for 39 years and have continued to learn from him through the years.

Create Happiness
Stay focused on the Savior.
Your life is a manifestation of what you think of Christ.
How will I feel tomorrow about today's decision?
Pride would tell us who is right~Humility would tell us what is right.
The truest mark of your success in life will be the quality of your marriage.
The choice of a companion will be the most important of all the choices you will make in your life.
II Timothy 1:7-8
Reminders to himself:
1.Never be offensive to anyone.
2.Visit the lonely and homebound more.
3.Begin each day with prayer.
4.Improve on my relationships with my posterity.
5.Guard my tongue to avoid words or statements of guile.
6.Improve on my desire to create happiness in others.
7.Be more consistent in personal and family history.
8.Improve on my priesthood assignments-in quality, promptness and dedication.
9.Be a better listener.
10.Remember the Rotary 4-way test of what we think, say, and do: Is it the truth? Is it fair to all concerned? Will it build goodwill and better friendships? Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
Good reminders to myself as well.
