Bette's Big Birthday Bash!

My sister, Bette, had her 80th birthday on the 14th this month and her
husband, Jim, planned this wonderful family party in Orlando. He arranged
condos at Marriott's for us and hosted this memorable birthday week!

Five years ago we went to Bahama Breeze to eat so we ended up eating there twice!  Yum!  We all recommend them! We also ate at Nick's Grill, Denney's,
The Maxwell's Beach Club, 2 guys pizza, KFC, Subway, TGIF and it goes on...lol

First on the agenda was the Cirque du Solelil performance which was Nouba...
Loved them!  Great performance!
Stan and Lou Ann will attest to how cold it was that evening
We went to Bone fish Grill on Bette's birthday the next day

We presented her with a birthday crown!

Bette loved her tiffany umbrella from the Morse Museum shop and...

...the wonderful edible arrangement sent from our brother and his wife in CA who couldn't join us.

Being sons and daughters of a Fish and Wildlife Game Warden, it was a must to visit the State Park and see the endangered Manatees along with other wildlife.

I have many more photos but I don't want to bore you.  The manatees swim into this cove to stay warm because they die at temperatures below 60's.  They are often killed by boaters which is one of the reasons that they are endangered.  The water was so clear and it is fed by a natural spring.
Very interesting.  At least we thought so.

On Sunday, we attended Sacrament meeting in a meetinghouse across from the Temple
and afterwards took photos at the OrlandoTemple.

Beautiful poinsettias were planted on the grounds!

Thomas Kincade puzzles and chatting was a good break from the touristy activities.

 Also visited by some...
 the Space Center

 and the Epcot Center

and...

We were happy to be there on the 100th anniversary to experience it!
It was definitely a surreal experience!

...and of course, a quick trip to the beach (brrr!)
