Jury Duty

Had a great experience in Judge Shaughnessy's courtroom the past few days.  We were qualified and met our fellow jurors, received instructions, and met the attorneys on the case.  We also met the defendant. 

Here are the juror minus a retired medical Dr. who left before we got out the cameras.

We enjoyed our time together and the young man who was tried came out quite positively considering how things could have gone for him. All of the officers involved followed the rules doing their best to take good care of us. We even got paid :) I would recommend everyone serve who is asked to be involved.  It was interesting seeing the system work.
