We knew Samuel would be spending the summer with the Gibbys but we had a pleasant surprise to have Jerry call and ask us if we wanted Samuel with us for a few days before he flew to Arkansas. He has certainly grown the past few months. It was so good to see him. Longest we've gone without seeing him since his birth. We continue to talk with him each week but would love to see him more often. We did some fun activities with the Selfridges & Tyler & Amy while he was here. One of them. We made a traditional visit to the Children's Museum at Gateway.
..and we played a few games...this one is one their great grandmother invented and it was sold by Deseret Book to raise funds for a meetinghouse in Oklahoma City.
The Gibbys were as excited as he was to have him come spend time with them! Here they are just as he arrived at the airport...
He had a wonderful summer with the Gibbys and hated to leave as they were sad to see him leave.
We picked him up in Loveland CO at the sculpture invitational in Loveland that Raymond was involved it. We had a couple of days with the two boys staying in Estes Park...Joseph said he loved vacationing with GrandV and Papa!
Lunch at Subway and a climb on the cougar
Swimmming with Papa and later on we had some visitors outside our door!
MORE FUN!!!
Miniature Golf is always fun!
That's all, folks! We had a real good time!
